In connection with what I last wrote about getting so much out of listening to the acoustic guitar room files, partly because of the personal connections I have there to the people who made the music, I wonder what others' experiences might be--- how do the interactions of friendship/personal intimacy with each other affect your experiences of sharing your music and listening to friends' music? I listen to music in some of the same ways I listen to friends --- with an ear toward some new experiences or feelings or ways of looking at things that "opens my eyes" to something I didn't see quite the same way before --- I'm always looking for a new adventure to explore something I didn't know about before, or something I could know in a different way.
